Currently teaching an accelerated US History course (11th Grade) to 7th and 8th grade classes. I have been teaching at this school since 2009. I have been involved in Regent's Exam Administration including scoring and data analysis. Each year I help organize school functions such as the 8th Grade Dinner/Dance, Graduation, and Senior Trip. I regularly host student-teachers as well as other graduate students with fieldwork experiences.

Technology Learning Specialist / Staff Developer (K-12)
As part of the district’s Technology Team, I provided teacher training and instructional technology support for all the schools within the district (CSD 8)
Teaching American History Staff Developer/Curriculum Writer
Under the direction of the Teaching American History Project Director I provided staff development and teacher training for MS Social Studies teachers within the district (CSD 8). After the retirement of the former TAH Project Director I was hired as a district administrator to finish the final two years of the Teaching American History Grant Project. I was responsible for supervising the TAH Staff Developers, organizing partnerships with various museums and other cultural institutions, building and maintaining the TAH website, managing the budget, as well as handling other administrative tasks such as hiring, payroll, purchasing, and working closely with the TAH Grant evaluator. I also worked closely with the Region Two (CSD 8, 11, & 12) Director of Social Studies on various Region-. wide initiativesLead Instructional Technology Specialist - District Administrator
After the conclusion of the four-year Teaching American History Grant I was retained by Region Two as a District Administrator and moved into the position of Lead Instruction Technology Specialist. As the LITS I was responsible for rolling out devices and providing support and professional development to all 32 schools in Region Two. I also served as the Region’s 3-8 Summer School Supervisor. In that role I was responsible for hiring and supervising the three district summer school coordinators, as well as the school-based supervisors, teachers, and support staff. I dealt with all aspects of summer school including inviting students, ordering supplies, and arranging for the training of the summer school teachers.
