"Suck It Up Buttercup & Other Four-Word Life Lessons" is a collection of easy-to-remember slogans for a better life. Each four-word life lesson includes a short narrative to explain the lesson with a mixture of anecdotes, real-world applications, pop culture references, current events, and personal reflections. What started as a last-day of-school lesson for the author's graduating 8th-graders morphed into a year-long project of daily social media posts geared toward imparting some commonsense wisdom to his students to deal with some of the issues they were facing. This book is a collection of 250 of these short, four-word lessons as they were originally written. While some of the current events and references might be a few years old, the lessons are timeless.
